The project area has been shown to contain a number of clusters of first and second order radiometric anomalies that have never been investigated (Figures 20 to 29). The radiometric anomalies are associated with the favourable lithologies to potentially hosted uranium deposits as the Alligator River Uranium Field region which lies to the north.

In terms of both regional and project scale structure the McArthur Basin Project areas are ideally situated for unconformity and calcrete uranium deposits.

● Regionally, the project area is located on the western part of the Woolgni/Edith River uranium field which contains uranium deposits in the Pine Creek Geosyncline.

● The Pine Creek Geosyncline account known mined out uranium resources in the Northern Territory, but also contains economic quantities of gold, base metals, iron ore etc

● The tenements have the geological potential to have the favourable model in which oxidised fluids, sourced from overlying platform cover sandstone successions (such as the Moroak Sandstone) carrying soluble uranium and depositing on the contact of the sandstone and the metamorphic basement rocks, which in turn forms the unconformity
