Tianda Pharmaceuticals focuses primarily on the research and development, production and sales of pharmaceutical, biotechnology and health care products. The company is headquartered in Hong Kong and has established a R&D centre and a production centre in Zhuhai, China. The company has set up its China headquarters and a marketing and sales centre in Shenzhen, China. In Yunnan province, China, the company plans to build a natural medicine R&D centre. The company set up a wholly-owned subsidiary in Australia and has been planning to build branches and establish joint ventures with companies in America and Europe. In addition, Tianda Pharmaceuticals has invested in and holds certain stakes in a number of pharmaceutical enterprises.

Tianda Pharmaceuticals has developed detoxification drugs, cardio and cerebral vascular drugs, antidiabetic drugs, antineoplastic drugs, antirheumatic drugs, antiviral drugs, antipyretic and analgesic drugs, pediatric drugs, products for the blood, vaccines and other health care products.

“Yi An Decoction” is a non-narcotic nutritional traditional Chinese-based detoxification medicine developed and manufactured independently by Tianda Pharmaceuticals. It has been approved by the State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA) in China and is the first all-natural non-narcotic oral detoxification liquid decoction in China. Yi An Decoction is widely used in a number of drug rehabilitation centers and has become a leading name in herbal detoxification medicine. It has been granted formulation protection and patent protection in more than 20 countries around the world.

Following its research strategy of focusing on the development of Chinese drugs, chemical drugs and bio-medicines, emphasizing both in-house capabilities and partnerships with other parties, Tianda Pharmaceuticals is continuously developing new medicines and enriching its product line. The company actively engages with reputable scientists and academic institutes to develop an international research and development network. The Company has set up the Guangdong Drug Detoxification Engineering and Technology Research and Development Centre. Through close co-operation with the University of Technology of Hong Kong and the University of Sydney the Company has formed the Cooperative Platform of GuangDong - Hong Kong - Australia for Innovative Medicinal Research and Development.

Tianda Pharmaceuticals recognizes the importance of global marketing strategy. In China, it has established a sizeable marketing and sales team and distribution network that extends throughout the country, and has formulated strategic marketing plans for the future. In the international market, through its headquarters in Hong Kong and branches and joint ventures in Australia and beyond, it has established an international marketing and sales team made up of in-house sales staff and professional local sales agencies around the world.

Product quality is paramount to Tianda Pharmaceuticals. The Company has implemented a comprehensive quality control and assurance system under China, British and US Pharmacopoeia standards. It has been granted GMP certification from the SFDA in China and the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) in Australia, and will apply for GMP certification from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in the United States of America and the European Medicines Agency (EMEA) in the European Union in accordance with its market development.
